Arni C. Thorsteinson, CFA
Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Trustees

Arni Thorsteinson is President and principal of Shelter Canadian Properties Limited. He has over 40 years experience in real estate development and finance. Arni is a founder of Lanesborough, Huntingdon, Temple and White Rock Real Estate Investment Trusts which are listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange. He is also a Director of Ben Moss Jewellers Ltd., Bird Construction Inc. and Onex Corporation. Arni obtained his Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 1974 and also holds Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) and Doctor of Laws (honoris causa) degrees from the University of Manitoba.

Arni is married to Susan Glass and both are active volunteers in the non-profit sector. He was appointed the first Chair of the Board of Trustees of the Canadian Museum for Human Rights and also serves on the boards of the Banff Centre and the Historica Dominion Institute.

Gary Buckley
Trustee

Gary Buckley has been involved in the hotel and hospitality industry since 1983. Gary is the co-owner and operator of the Elkhorn Resort & Conference Centre in Clear Lake, Manitoba. Gary owns other hotel and mobile home properties and is the largest shareholder of Genesys Hospitality, which owns various hotel properties in Manitoba and elsewhere.

He is a trustee of Exchange Industrial Income Fund.

Gary holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Alberta.

David Drybrough, FCA
Trustee

David Drybrough, FCA, was Vice President, Finance of Winnipeg-based Gendis Inc. from 1997 until his retirement in January 2004. Previously, David was with Coopers & Lybrand, Chartered Accountants (now PricewaterhouseCoopers) for 24 years.

David is a Director and Chair of the Audit Committee of CanWest Global Communications Corp. and Director and Chair of the Audit Committee of Fort Chicago Energy Partners LP.

Rosanne Hill Blaisdell
Trustee

Rosanne Hill Blaisdell is the Managing Director of Harvard Buildings Inc., a Hill Company, and has held the position of Vice President of Leasing for Harvard Developments Inc. since 1997. Harvard Developments Inc. is a real estate company which is headquartered in Regina, Saskatchewan. Rosanne also has experience in commercial banking and investment management.

She is a member of the Provincial Construction and Development Sector Committee for Enterprise Saskatchewan and is a past member of the Board of Directors of the Regina Economic Development Authority.

Rosanne obtained her Masters of Business Administration from the University of Manitoba in 1991 and also holds a CCIM real estate designation.

Rod Marlin
Trustee

Rod Marlin has been President, Chief Executive Officer and Director of Eveready Inc. (formerly Eveready Income Fund) since its inception on March 31, 2005. Previously, Rod was the President and Chair of Eveready Industrial Group Ltd., and Chair and Director of Eveready Industrial Services Corp. Rod was also the founder and President of Marlin Travel Group from 1967 until its sale in 1993.

Larry Beeston, CA, F.C.C.I.
Chief Financial Officer

Larry is the Senior Manager - Financial Reporting for Shelter Canadian Properties Limited as well as the General & Asset Manager - Condominium & Retirement Properties.

Larry was employed by Shelter in various financial and operational positions from 1979 to 1998 and rejoined Shelter in 2004. Larry has held other senior positions, including Vice-President Finance and Chief Financial Officer of a real estate management company and Chief Financial Officer of a TSX-listed real estate investment trust.

Larry obtained his Chartered Accountant designation in 1980 and his A.C.C.I. designation from the Canadian Condominium Institute in 1991. Larry also holds a Bachelor of Administrative Studies (Honours) degree from the University of Manitoba.
